The Ribbon Cutting

On September 10, 2026, a crowd gathered on the front lawn of the Heman L. Ticknor House to celebrate the Anoka County Historical Society's reopening of the Ticknor Hill Bed and Breakfast. While ACHS still needs to move the research library and offices into the first floor, having the B&B open and ready for guests marked a huge step in what we now lovingly call ACHS 2.0.
