Rebecca was kind enough to give The Anoka Podcast a tour of Ticknor Hill "Ticks" before we recorded, and we immediately understood their vision and desire to have this space!

The Ribbon Cutting
When the scissors sliced through the logo of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce printed on the ribbon that stretched across the steps of the Ticknor Hill B&B on September 10, a strikingly similar sound was heard nearly a year earlier. The City of Anoka had called requesting we vacate their building to allow for redevelopment in 2027.
Right time, right place
Now, if this were a film, perhaps one of those with dramatic crime scenes lit with a single, swinging lightbulb, you (dear reader) would now follow the ping.

It’s all about the twiddle
Rebecca makes a great romantic argument for the twists and turns of life being represented in the “twiddly” legs of her office table. Should we tell her that a definition of “twiddly” is also, “an informal adjective used to describe something that is overly decorative, curly, detailed, or elaborately complex in an unnecessary way… It can also mean finicky, requiring a lot of fussy adjustments?”
