It’s all about the twiddle
Rebecca makes a great romantic argument for the twists and turns of life being represented in the “twiddly” legs of her office table. Should we tell her that a definition of “twiddly” is also, “an informal adjective used to describe something that is overly decorative, curly, detailed, or elaborately complex in an unnecessary way… It can also mean finicky, requiring a lot of fussy adjustments?”
