The day arrived to decommission the Greenwald room as a rentable space. Sad, yes. It truly felt cozy and comfortable at the base of the turret with a big four poster bed and fireplace. However…imagine if you will…that same cozy room across the hall from Cindy getting the research library ready for the day, the printer jumping to life, and folks popping in to look up some dead relatives.

No, me either.

So, instead, we can enjoy it as a cozy fireplace space, a game room, a meeting room, a knitting group room, a date night hideaway, you name it! Folks can rent it, use it while they stay overnight, or pop in while we have office hours on the off chance it’s available.

But first, we had to unplug some lamps. That’s where innkeeper Ella came in. Or rather, where she went under. Either way, mission accomplished and the room is ready for its next adventure!
